Census 2020 Art Contest

The Census happens every ten years. The Constitution requires that every person in the United States be

counted—adults, children and babies, citizens, immigrants, or visitors. It's the only time we count everyone.

Included in your Summer Reading Packet is paper provided for the art contest.  We want you to draw or paint a picture of why the Census is important for Satsuma! You can use paint, crayons, colored pencils etc. Please turn your artwork in at Satsuma Public Library by the end of June. All entries will be posted in the window of the library for all to enjoy as they pass by. Our winners will be announced on Facebook the first week of July.

On the back of your entry please print:

Childs name, Age & Phone Number so we may contact you.
