Teen Friends tutoring program is a volunteer program in which teens earn community service hours by  working  as tutors in the children's reading program, and adult computer program.Teen Friends also volunteer for other various library activities, programs, and events to earn community service hours. The service hours earned are a huge asset to teens needing community service hours for school clubs, college applications, and scholarship opportunities. Each year Satsuma Public Library Foundation awards a scholarship to the outstanding senior in the Teen Friends Program.
